Prerequisites

This course assumes that the intended target audience (SE) has, minimally, a Cisco Certified Network Entry Technician (CCENT) certificate or equivalent work experience.

The course identified below covers the intended prerequisite knowledge and skills. The course is offered as an eLearning Training (eLT) through the Cisco Learning Network Store and as an ILT through Cisco authorized learning partners.

  • Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1)
  • Learners are expected to have the following base knowledge and skills:

-IP addressing

-Basic WAN routing knowledge

-Basic server knowledge (VM-ware, Citrix, Hyper-V)

Course content

Enterprise Network Core and WAN Essentials (ENCWE) v1.0 is designed to assure that Cisco and partner system engineers (SE) can provide technical pre-sales engineering services to customers, including presenting, implementing, and demonstrating rich Cisco application experiences solutions such as Application Visibility and Control (AVC), Cloud Connector, TrustSec, and Wide Area Application Services (WAAS).

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, Cisco and Partner SE Generalists will be able to articulate the value of Cisco Intelligent WAN solution including its technology pillars as well as use case scenarios and best practices.
