Cisco Museum

Dubai, November 2013 – Fast Lane employee Peter Beleznay opens up a "Cisco Museum" in Hungary.

Peter Beleznay has been part of the Fast Lane family in Hungary since 2007. He is a business development manager and an instructor for Cisco, NetApp, and Aruba. His infatuation for technology has generated the interest within him to start the concept of “Cisco Museum”.

“Cisco Museum” is a collection of old Cisco devices. Most of the devices displayed in the museum are ones that are no longer being used for training purposes in Fast Lane Vienna. The goal of the Cisco Museum is to continue collecting these historically important devices.

Peter has managed to reserve a permenant spot for his Cisco Collection  in an IT History Museum, Computer Museum of Szeged, which opened almost a year ago in Szeged- Hungary.  Some of the exhibited devices in Szeged are: "AGS+", one of the first routers produced by Cisco, the IGS router, Cisco 4700 router, and 1603 router.

Lately, Peter was part of a conference held in the Computer Museum of Szeged. Many influential people in the technology industry managed to attend the conference and Mr. Laszlo Gyorgy, the managing director of Cisco Hungary, was one of them.

With the continuous support and donations Peter looks forward to seeing improvements in the collection.

Please feel free anytime to visit the exhibition in Szeged (Szent-Gyorgyi Agora), or virtually on
